Todd Moore joined the Continental Machines Inc./DoAll Sawing Products team as engineering manager. Moore has more than 21 years of experience. He began his career as a senior project engineer and progressively advanced into more complex positions and leadership roles. In Moore’s recent positions, he generated and reviewed control of bill of materials, engineering changes, assembly/ components prints, routings, work instructions, work flow and overall process information for production. Moore possesses strong customer relationship, business management and leadership experience.
DoAll Sawing Products’ released new stainless steel circular saw blades. The Stainless Dominator cuts stainless steel and other alloys that are susceptible to work hardening within the cutting zone. DoAll offers the blades as part of its sawing machines, metal cutting blades and associated metal cutting fluids to service the varied needs of customers.
The L.S. Starrett Co. launched 3X Power bi-metal reciprocating saw blades for cutting metal, wood, multiple materials and heavy-duty applications. The blades are highly resistant to breakage and include a reinforced shank. Metal cutting blades are available in 4 in., 6 in. and 8 in. lengths in 14, 18 or 24 TPI and have a straight shape. Multi-purpose blades are available in 6 in., 9 in. and 12 in. lengths in 6-10, 10 and 10-14 TPI and have a tapered or straight shape. King Cut heavyduty blades are available in 6 in., 8 in., 9 in. and 12 in. lengths in 6-10, 10-14 and 18 TPI and have a straight or tapered shape.
Laguna Tools Inc. completed its acquisition of Dake Corp. In line with Laguna Tools’ growth strategy, the acquisition will provide it with a solid and diverse platform for the continued development of its metalworking line of products and technologies. Dake is the second acquisition for Laguna in the past two years. In September 2017, Laguna Tools acquired SuperMax, a manufacturer and distributor of sanding/finishing equipment for metalworking, successfully BEHRINGER CELEBRATES 100 YEARS growing it multiple times over.
Behringer GmbH is celebrating its 100th anniversary. Since the founding of the company in 1919, Behringer has developed into a leading supplier of sawing technology. The history of the sawing machine producer started in 1919, when August Behringer founded a small locksmith and mechanical workshop in the village center of Kirchardt, Germany. Today, Behringer is an internationally active family business run by the grandchildren of the founder, Rolf and Christian Behringer. Most of the machines produced are exported to more than 80 countries.
