Cosen Saws USA named Kent Hughes director of sales, North America. Hughes has more than 20 years of national sales management experience. He previously worked at Amada as North American business manager, for both bandsaw blades and machines, to help increase coverage nationwide. Hughes also worked for Mitutoyo, covering their product line ranging from measurement tools to CMMs and form and vision measuring systems in the North Central region.
Tigerstop adds legs to cutting system

TigerStop LLC offers more stable table legs for its SawGear portable, automatic lineal cutting system. The legs branch in two directions from a direct connection point and are connected at the top to the table with a sheet metal faceplate. The tables come in three lengths to accommodate 8-ft., 12-ft. or 16-ft. working lengths and are quick to set up and break down. SawGear easily attaches to either side of a miter saw, chop saw, double miter saw, vertical panel saw and can be integrated onto an ironworker shear or punch.
Kasto to display bandsaws and tower

Kasto will display its KastoEcostore tower and KastoWin line of bandsaws at Blechexpo in Stuttgart, Germany, Nov. 7-10. Suitable for storing sheet metal in a wide range of sizes, the automated tower storage system can also hold Euro pallets and skeleton containers. The standard version accommodates materials up to 1,524 mm wide and 4,000 mm long. The system height can be up to 8 m. The fully automatic bandsaws are for serial and production sawing of solid materials, tubes and sections. The saws cover a cutting range from 330 mm to 1,060 mm.
Kalamazoo offers abrasive chop saws

Kalamazoo Industries Inc.’s abrasive chop saws are good for cutting up to 12-in. pipe or tube. Saws include the K7B 7-in. chop saw and the K26E 26-in. enclosed abrasive saw. The saws are capable of cutting pipe quickly and with minimal heat buildup. They can reportedly accommodate any wall thickness.
Rockford systems’ safeguarding seminars

Rockford Systems LLC scheduled its fall safeguarding seminars. They offer an opportunity for machine operators to grow their machine safety knowledge, improve their organization’s OSHA and ANSI compliance, reduce operator risk and improve productivity.
